12. Candi Carter: From Executive Producer of The Tamron Hall Show and The View to Chief Content Officer
Candi Carter has worked as a television producer for over 25 years and is now the Chief Content Officer for Knocking.com. Before this role, Candi was the executive producer and showrunner for The Tamron Hall Show. For five seasons, she was also the executive producer of the iconic daytime TV show, The View. During her tenure, The View was inducted into the Broadcasting Hall of Fame and won an Emmy award in 2020 for "Best Informative Talk Show." She was also a producer of the Oprah Winfrey Show for 15 years.
When the Oprah Winfrey Show ended its historic run in 2011, Candi co-founded New Chapter Entertainment and originated, developed, and produced unscripted TV shows for broadcast, cable, syndication, and new media and launched two talk shows and developed and executive produced presentations, pilots, and shows for HGTV, Lifetime, TV One, BET, OWN, and PBS.
